The Roles of a Prophet
🎯 Learning Objectives By the end of this unit, students will be able to: Identify the key roles and responsibilities of biblical prophets. Describe the supernatural elements of prophetic ministry. Differentiate between true and false prophets using biblical criteria. Analyze the personal challenges faced by prophets. Recognize the historical and spiritual importance of prophetic writings and schools of prophets. Reflect on the relevance of prophetic ministry in modern kingdom life.

Old & New Testament Prophetic Paradigm

Prophecy Testifies of Jesus
This section explores the foundational truth that all true prophecy is centered on Jesus Christ. Revelation 19:10 reminds us that prophecy is not for personal glory or mystical experience but to bear witness to Jesus—His nature, His work, and His kingdom. Students will reflect on how the “testimony of Jesus” is the essence of prophetic ministry. From the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies in the life of Jesus to the prophetic outpouring in the early Church, this teaching emphasizes that authentic prophecy aligns with the revelation of Christ.

Written Assignments: “The Call of a Prophet – Written Reflection”
In this self-paced section, students will explore the weight, responsibility, and journey of being called as a prophet. Through guided prompts and biblical insights, participants are invited to reflect deeply and submit a written paper detailing their understanding of the prophetic call, how it resonates personally, and what it means to walk in obedience to it. This assignment is designed to help students internalize their learning, engage with the Holy Spirit, and articulate their prophetic identity with clarity and conviction.
